1. Scope

This policy explains how ClipMaker Pro handles information when a creator uses the Windows desktop application, this website, or an optional third-party account connection.

2. Local information

The desktop application may store project settings, local media paths, clips, captions, processing history and preferences on the creator's computer. This local information is not automatically transmitted to the website operator.

3. TikTok connection

If the creator chooses to connect TikTok, the service may receive an authorization identifier, basic profile information authorized by the creator, access and refresh tokens, selected post metadata, upload status, and the specific video the creator expressly chooses to upload. ClipMaker Pro does not request or store a TikTok password.

4. How information is used

Authenticate the account chosen by the creator.
Display the connected account and available publishing options.
Upload only creator-selected media after explicit confirmation.
Track upload processing and report success or failure.
Protect the integration, prevent abuse and troubleshoot errors.

5. Sharing

Information is shared with TikTok only as necessary to provide the creator-requested connection and upload. Service providers used for secure hosting may process limited technical information on our behalf. We do not sell personal information.

6. Retention and security

Authorization tokens are retained only while needed to maintain the requested connection and are protected using access controls appropriate to the service. Upload records may be retained for troubleshooting and then deleted or anonymized. Local clips remain under the creator's control.

7. Creator choices

A creator may disconnect TikTok, revoke authorization from TikTok's account settings, or request deletion of connection data. Disconnecting does not delete videos already posted to TikTok.

8. Data deletion request

Follow the instructions on our Data Deletion page or email the address above with the subject “ClipMaker Pro Data Deletion Request.” We may request limited information to verify the account before completing the request.

9. Children

ClipMaker Pro is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Changes

We may update this policy when the application or integrations change. The effective date at the top identifies the latest version.
